Show Your Soft Side is an organization working to end animal cruelty. Oftentimes, perpetrators first engage in these sadistic acts at a young age due to peer pressure, frustration or boredom. SYSS seeks to stop these brutal crimes by utilizing youth idols, such as athletes and celebrities, in messages and programs that prove only cowards hurt defenseless animals. The campaign's unsentimental takeaway -- "Only a Punk Would Hurt a Cat or Dog" -- started in Baltimore, but is heard -- and has resonated -- around the world.
